The different rules of the game

 

In this article we come back to the rules of the game, competition or not, French and international. And yes whether you are in Japan, the US or Europe, it is better to know the rules, they are universal. Practical during your travels you can play with locals without even speaking the language or even organize your Open with friends!

Establishment:  The Open is a duel on a list of figures known in advance.

Course of the game: From the list of tricks of the event, each of the players will have to draw a tricks at random. A player begins and draws a card which indicates the figure to him. The drawn tricks must be performed by the players in turn once, with a maximum of 3 tries. The player who is the only one to perform the tricks scores 1 point. If during a turn both players perform the tricks, no point is scored and we move on to the next card.

End of Game : The first to 3 point wins the match!


Speed ​​Ladder

Implementation: The Speed ​​Ladder is a clash between several players. Each player is provided with a tricklist in front of him. One judge per player can be assigned to validate the figures.

Course of the game: The object of the game is to complete the whole list of figures as quickly as possible. All players start at the same time and must perform the tricks in the order listed.

End of Game : The first to complete all the tricks wins the Speed ​​Ladder!


Dama blitz

Implementation: It is a duel which is played around a chess clock. First choose a tricks, not necessarily complicated, the simplest tricks are sometimes the funniest, and set the clock to 1 minute on both sides.

Course of the game: When you are ready, the player facing the buzzer up begins. The second player must score “3..2..1..blitz!”, When pronouncing blitz he presses the “Play / Pause” button in the middle. The clock for player number 1 will start, he must now perform the previously decided tricks. He must continue until he succeeds. When he has performed the tricks, player 1 presses the buzzer, and player 2 can begin to perform the trick.

End of Game : The game continues until the end of the time of one of the two players. Whoever still has time wins!

Detail:

  • You must press the buzzer after having successfully completed your tricks and not before, otherwise you will be disqualified.
  • Likewise, you must start your tricks when your opponent has pressed the buzzer.
  • After a few games, you can have fun modifying the rules: changing the time, playing as a team in 2v2 ...
