Yo! My name is Thomas (Thoplard) I come from Nevers and I am currently a science student in Paris. In life I like to chill with friends, sound, sports of all kinds and of course Kendama!

HOW DID YOU DISCOVER KENDAMA?

By chance, when entering the RAZA skateshop in Grenoble (which unfortunately closed), the two brothers were in full OUT, they explained to me a little the principle of Kendama and I immediately liked the link with the sports of glide and the simplicity of the trick.

SINCE WHEN ?

I got my first Kendama at RAZA in February 2015, and that's where the love story began.

THE BEST SPOT YOU RIDED?

Huumm, not yet found the spot that particularly marked me even if during my travels I shredd in really nice places. As long as it's quiet outside and there isn't too much wind, it's perfect I want to say.

YOUR FAVORITE TRICK?

I will not know how to answer but everything that touches on the balance in particular the stalls and the lighthouse.

YOUR FAVORITE KD PLAYER?

Oula there are so many, but in the spirit I really like the Danes in general, they seem really happy to share their love of Ken, if we have to name Bonz Atron and his lines of "birds »And Isaac Fine too, but first there are all my friends haha ​​...

YOUR STATE OF MIND WHEN YOU RIDE?

It depends on the day, sometimes more relaxing or I just chill a bit with a few tricks and sometimes I focus on a trick and it's gone for hours. Anyway, when I do Ken I have a blast and forget everything.

WHAT YOU PREFER MOST ABOUT KENDAMA?

I think it's the notion of sharing around a completely Zen practice that I like the most. Being used to riding solo, it is always a pleasure to meet / introduce friends or strangers who do Ken.

YOUR TIP FOR ROOKIES?

I still consider myself a Ken's Rookie! But if you have to give advice, FLÉCHIS LES LEGS, do not give up and especially enjoy your thing.
