Grain Theory - March 9th 2018
The American brand returns at the start of 2018 with two new models. We suspected that the return of Jake Wiens to the GT team, and his departure from the KUSA team, foreshadowed something, we are now fixed. The beginning of an answer has therefore just been brought to the community a few days ago, two new GT kendamas are arriving on the market tomorrow, March 9.
GT-E1
The E1 takes a shape well known to players who have already had a kendama of the brand in their hands, it is the GT1 which is quite simply their first shape released in 2013. Available in two versions the Roku and Stitch, they both have the same characteristics, only the design of the tama changes. The Roku sports a tama design symmetrical when the Stitch offers a more discreet 70/30, however both allow efficient tracking! As explained in the GT video at the bottom of this page, the manufacturing takes place in Asia for these E1s, which allows the brand to offer the highly appreciated polish from Deal With It, the famous Sticky AF Clear. With a slight gloss and shine effect, it is slightly tacky and offers a soft and precise grip.
The value for money of these E1s is really surprising, it's great news for the community to see that top-of-the-range brands are adapting to the market, so we can hope that GT will send us something new a few times in the world. 'year ! In any case at Kendama France we have tested the product and we validate 100%, treat yourself to an E1 you will not regret it!
